Pierre is the chair of IMA’s forums in China and currently sits on the advisory or main boards of companies and financial institutions in China and India as well as chairing the Presidents’ Club in Shanghai. He has lived and worked in four continents, building and leading large businesses. In 2015-16, he was the CEO of Triangle Tyre, China’s largest privately-owned tyre business, taking it to its IPO. Prior to that he was the President of Goodyear Asia Pacific. From 1985, Pierre held a series of roles with Eastman Kodak, including executive positions in Brazil, Mexico, the US, Singapore, and Switzerland. From 1996, he was GM for Kodak’s worldwide consumer films business and was made chair of the Asia Pacific region for that business in 1999. In 2001, he became the chair of Kodak’s Europe, Africa, Middle East, and Russia Region. In 2003, Groupe Danone chose Cohade to run its global water and beverage division. His other roles include a governor of AMCHAM Shanghai (2006 to 2010), a member of IBLAC, the Shanghai mayor’s advisory council, and an Overseas Economic Advisor to the Mayor of Dalian. UNICEF recognized Pierre as a ‘Champion for Children” for his fund raising and contributions to the Sichuan earthquake recovery in 2008. He has also been awarded the “Magnolia Award” by the Shanghai Municipal Government, the highest honour for foreigners living in Shanghai. A native of Barcelonnette, France, he is a graduate of SKEMA (Sophia-Antipolis, France) and has an MBA from the Pennsylvania State University.
